Finding Aero

One-owner cars always make me pause. They tell a story before the key is turned or the service records are opened.

This is not necessarily a rare Saab, nor is it the model most likely to lead an auction report. What makes it interesting is simpler: someone chose it, maintained it, and continued living with it while newer cars came and went.

Enthusiast consensus is useful. It teaches us what to inspect, which models are sought after, and where the weaknesses may be. But it can also teach us to overlook cars that do not sit near the top of the accepted hierarchy.

The consensus is a useful place to begin. It is not always the best place to end.

Not every Find is rare. Some are simply worth noticing.
